Fees & Insurance
What are my fees?
- My standard fee is $160 for a 55–60 minute session.
- I also offer a sliding scale for private pay (aka those who are either not insured or have insurance I’m not paneled with)—based on a person’s individual need.
- Payment is due at time of service – Check, cash, credit, or HSA (Health Savings Account).
- If the following numbers seem too much, please feel free to call and we can discuss your individual situation.
Do I accept insurance?
- I am paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, and Priority Health.
- I create a Superbill documentation for anyone who is able to request reimbursement for out-of-network services from their insurer, but it is it the client’s responsibility to submit the bill directly to their insurance company, and I must charge my full rate according to the terms and process of insurance plans.
Cancellation Policy
- In any event that you need to cancel your appointment, we ask for at least a 24-hour notice.
- In the event that the requested 24 hours’ notice is not given, you will be given one grace miss. After that, each late cancellation/no show you will be charged your 1/2 session amount, with exception to illness, hazardous weather, or emergencies.
- Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and a late cancellation/no show not only takes away from your time for growth, but also the potential spot for another client.
Note: For those who pay for services out of your pocket, I am able to provide a greater level of confidentiality with your medical records, as well as have the flexibility to provide the level of service necessary to help you meet your treatment goals. I do not have to share your personal information or diagnosis with anyone without your written permission when you take full responsibility to pay for your services.
Additional Services Fee
- Additional services requested by a client will be charged the following fees. Professional services (phone consults, letters, reports, etc.): Billed on the quarter hour at $60 per hour. Court Consultation/Deposition/Appearances or other related matters: $400 per hour, billed on the quarter hour for preparation.
